Ted is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 25 years of experience as CEO in founding and building successful companies in eCommerce, SaaS, Tech-Enabled Services, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
Prior to joining Whittier Trust, Ted was Founder, CEO, and Board Member of ShipCalm, In his CEO role, Ted was responsible for building revenue, providing strategic guidance, helping define the vision, and supporting the management team and the company’s vision. During his tenure at ShipCalm, he contributed to designing and delivering a customer-centric, tech-enabled solution to eCommerce-focused brands to manage their supply chain.

Prior to ShipCalm, he was the Founder/CEO of a leading electronics manufacturing and supply chain company for 20 years. His company built medical devices, consumer electronics, and key national defense products.
Ted’s business values are rooted in his belief that hiring great people to deliver on a clear vision and mission will build value for both the business and those that we serve.

Ted has worked and lived in California for his entire career, the most recent 26 years in San Diego. Ted and his wife Monica have raised their 4 children in the Carmel Valley/Del Mar area. They are active in the local community and special causes in the area, such as the San Diego Police Foundation, Boys to Men Mentoring, and other high-value causes to provide opportunities and mentorship to those in the San Diego area.
